Ion Exchange System

Ion Exchange System

  • Demineralized water treatment systems remove dissolved minerals from process water used in boiler make-up water and other industrial applications.

  • The most common methods of demineralization water are membrane application and Ion Exchange Resin system.

  • Our demineralized water system consists of Twin Bed, CAC, Softener and degasifier to increase the purity of demineralized water, a single unit of polisher which is Cation Polisher will implement into the CAC to increase the purity of water.

Softener

  • Water softening is the removal of hardness mainly formed by calcium, magnesium and certain other metal cations in hard water.

  • Soft water also extends the lifetime of plumbing or heating equipment by reducing or eliminating scale build-up pipes and fittings.

Twin Bed System

  • Twin bed system acts as high purity ion exchange demineralizers in separated vessels which are designed for industrial and ultra high purity water applications and industrial water purification.
  • The cation resin is always first and the anion resin is always second.

Mixed Bed System

  • A mixed-bed unit will be required if the product water specification is below that achievable from the demineralization plant alone or higher degree of safety is required to ensure water quality.

  • We optimize the combination of ion exchange unit and membrane systems to deliver customized demineralization systems that meet the needs of our clients.

  • This process differs essentially from the separate bed system in that the two strong ion exchange resins, Cation and the Anion, are homogenous mixed in a single vessel.

Degasifier System

  • The CO2 degassifier is placed between the cation and anion exchangers as an integral part of the demineralization unit.

  • This increases the capacity of the anion exchangers and prolongs their durability.

  • By removing the CO2 from the water, the ion exchange process is improved.
